Now, he’s adding another chapter to his legacy with the release of his second signature skate shoe: the Rowan 2.
Rowan Zorilla’s loose, free-flowing style and uncanny ability to adapt to just about any spot has contributed to reshaping the way future generations think about skateboarding. With that in mind, Vans worked with Rowan to create the Rowan 2, an evolution of his first signature skate shoe with upgrades to both style and function to help Rowan continue pushing progression. The Rowan 2 takes design cues from vintage court shoes and is built with ImpactWaffle technology—a combination of Vans’ dual-density impact cushioning and SickStick rubber, providing exceptional impact protection without sacrificing boardfeel.
IMPACTWAFFLE
The Rowan 2 evolves ImpactWaffle™ technology by pulling it further into the forefoot of the shoe for even more impact protection, without sacrificing boardfeel.
SICKSTICK
The Rowan 2 SickStick™ rubber cupsole features a zonal tread design in the forefoot for enhanced grip and board control, with a reversed waffle tread pattern in the heel to increase the longevity of the shoe.
DURACAP
Exposed Duracap™ on the uppers for maximum durability against wear and tear.
RECYCLED SOCKLINER
An additional layer made of 98% recycled materials has been added on top of a molded midsole for added comfort.
