Made to haul all the gear you need—but flexible enough to slim down for shorter rides—the Raptor 14 is our premium pack for mountain bikers who demand top quality from their gear. Don’t like how hydration packs feel over gnarly terrain? Neither did we. So we designed shoulder straps in the shape of wings that curve the same way you do when you’re in riding position.
An AirScape suspension and back panel provide a close-to-body carrying experience and elevate comfort and stability to unprecedented levels, while still allowing for dynamic body movement. An included 2.5-liter reservoir with direct-zip hose access ensures straightforward loading, while a tool roll organizes the ingredients to get you moving again should you have any trailside troubles. Standard helmets attach with our LidLock system and side compression straps will fit your full face helmet.
TOOL ROLL
Never dig for your tools again. The dedicated lower compartment holds a removable pouch to organize your tools so you can get back to what matters—the ride.
RESERVOIR INCLUDED
Osprey Hydraulics® LT 2.5L reservoir keeps you hydrated all day long and stores in a dedicated hydration compartment with direct-zip access and sternum strap magnetic bite valve.
LIDLOCK
Attach your helmet securely to the outside of your pack without wasting the space inside. Perfect for wrapping up a long ride at your local brewery.
RIDE STABILITY
Our new “winged” harness wraps the upper shoulders for added stability and keeps the pack comfortably close to your body.
AIRSCAPE SUSPENSION
Atilon foam framesheet allows dynamic body movement and distributes load across entire back panel
AIRSCAPE BACKPANEL
Mesh-covered, extra deep ridged foam allows maximum ventilation while keeping the load close to the body
BIOSTRETCH HARNESS
Osprey engineered bike-specific harness with winged shoulder strap shape contours the shoulder providing superior comfort and stability with soft breathable spacer mesh contact surfaces and die-cut foam ventilation
This measurement starts at the iliac crest, which is the top of your hipbone on the side of your body that acts like a shelf. From this point, measure to the C7 vertebra, the knobby bone at the base of your neck when you put your head down. Reference the torso length below to match the correct pack size.
Osprey Xenith, Xena, Aether, Ariel, Atmos and Aura packs offer interchangeable shoulder harnesses. Harness sizing usually corresponds to pack size. A properly fit harness should terminate 2" to 3" beneath the armpit when at the proper torso length. The webbing should not touch the side of the body below the padding.
True function and comfort along with style. We have over 20 years of experience designing women's packs.
The pack's shape is patterned to be more narrow and with added depth in the right places. This allows greater freedom of movement and increases stabilization by lowering the position of the load to a more optimal center of gravity. As a result, the load is more proportionately supported on the hips and along the structure of the back.
The shoulder harness is designed with thoughtful angle changes and varying padding thickness to create an anatomical fit for a woman's neck, shoulders and chest. This is balanced with optimizing where the tension from the pack's load is carried. For women, our sternum strap is a key piece in equalizing the pressure across the shoulder harness. The padding used is also specific in order to be more comfortable when carrying a heavy load.
The hipbelt is designed with thoughtful angle changes and varying padding thickness to create an anatomical fit. The hipbelt is also narrower in height for better comfort so it doesn't dig into the ribs or upper thighs when scrambling or climbing. Most importantly, women's hips are more conically shaped with a larger difference between the waist and hip measurements. We sculpt and angle our hipbelts accordingly for comfortable load transfer and optimal support. Again, the padding used is also specific in order to be more comfortable when carrying a heavy load.
Osprey Xenith, Xena, Aether, Ariel and Variant series packs offer interchangeable hipbelts. To determine hipbelt size, measure around the hips, at the iliac crest, not the waist. The padded portion should wrap well around the hips, leaving a gap of 3" to 6" between the tips of both hip pads when securely tightened.
