The Kodama packs a hell of a lot of surface area into its one-hundred-and-fifty-six centimeters, and if you translate its name from Japanese you’ll quickly find out what kind of rider it’s built for: “The Spirit Living in the Forest”. With most of the surface area shifted towards the nose, it’s made for cork-like float while a stubby tail enables quick turns while out surfing the woods.
The all black base makes core-shot surgery even easier. Transitions just got faster, too: new for ALL our Splitboards are holes at the tip and tail to make mounting skins easier. Self-propelled low-vis stormchasing just got even funner. ALL TERRAIN TIPS
A smooth kick radius and fuller tip outline improves deep snow floatation without adding swing weight.
BEZIÈR CURVES
We replace standard radii with Beziér curves in our sidecut and nose design, allowing us to precisely calculate the core’s flex curve for the most harmonious ride imaginable.
BIAX GLASS
Using Biaxial Glass in the construction of our shreds gives them a flawless blend of response and playfulness whilst keeping them ridiculously lightweight.
BOLTED TIP CLIPS
Using threaded bolts instead of rivets allows broken tip clips to be easily replaced, on the hill, without the need for a workshop full of tools.
EXTRUDED BASE
If we didn’t tell you, you’d think this base was sintered. Amplid’s mind-boggling extruded base material offers next level glide properties and rarely needs waxing.
FLOATATION TIPS
Ultra wide, low rising tips that exist purely to create lift in powder without sucking-up speed. They add a surfy feel to skis and snowboards.
IMPACT PADS
In the top laminate we have added multidirectional glass pads in the binding area, to avoid dings caused by the pointy corners of binding bases. These pads enhance durability while only adding minimal weight.

This superlight wood core is the industry standard for lightweight, durable and versatile performance. We’ve tweaked this core so many times over the years there’s nothing left to improve.
SHRED READY
Boards come factory-tuned with two Scotch wax runs and a 90°/0° edge setup, leaving all options open for customizing your own edge angles.
SKIN HOLES
Holes in the tips simply provide the fastest and most convenient way to fix your skins.
SPLIT TUNE
We lightly round the edges at the tip and tail, outside of the effective edge. Blunting these edges reduces chipping to the topsheet during skinning.
