Mips Technology
The helmet includes Mips technology (short for Multi-directional Impact Protection system) for protection against rotational forces, and the hybrid shell construction, combining an in-mold technology with a robust ABS shell, has allowed an optimized weight, durability, and structural stability.
twICEme Technology
Deep Space Alpha Mips integrates twICEme® technology, based on NFC, that gives instant access to uploaded safety information by the tap of a smartphone, letting first responders and people around you to take correct action faster in case of an emergency.
Recco® Technology
RECCO® Avalanche Rescue Technology makes you searchable to professional rescuers in the event of an avalanche accident or when lost in the outdoors. RECCO reflectors are lightweight passive transponders that require no power or activation to function and enables professional rescuers to locate you with RECCO detectors. The reflectors are designed to last a lifetime and do not age or wear out. If not mechanically damaged they will last forever.
