The top of the line sandal was beautifully made and great for hiking. Unfortunately for me the instep was off. I did purchase and like the one step down sandal and it fits fabulously!

I bought these for walking on the beach and they are perfect for this purpose. They are very comfortable, giving good support and cushioning. I wore them around the house to get used to them but really didn't need to. Put them on and go!

I'm giving these four stars instead of five and here's why. Pros: Very cute, they fit great, they clearly will be very sturdy. Cons: the strap on the back heel is a little loose, and I haven't decided yet if that will be ultimately be annoying or not. There appears to be no way to tighten it. Otherwise the sandals fit perfectly. Also, after wearing them for a little while they were a bit uncomfortable, and I couldn't figure out why. I think it may be because the material they are made from is not real flexible. I'm in my 60s, and it doesn't take much for shoes to prove less than perfectly comfortable, so this may not prove an issue for someone younger. For me they will be fine for everyday wear, but not for hiking or long walks. NOTE: I bought a size 7 and they fit perfectly. I normally wear a 6 or 6.5. DEFINITELY order a half or even full size larger.
