Based on the popular Merc, the Astral is sized specifically for women and smaller riders. Its secret sauce is the CamRock profile that smooths turn initiation and gives great edge hold with fewer hang-ups. Triax Plus
Fiberglass is woven in three directions at 45° for max stiffness. The result of extensive testing, Triax Plus uses different glass densities above and below the core to deliver more consistent torsional flex, better pop, and lightning response.
Master Core
Our Master Core is the culmination of decades of experimentation in materials and woodcraft. Two species of wood (poplar and paulownia) are combined to give the best of all worlds: light, strong and responsive.
N-5000 Extruded
