ALUMINUM FRAME
Beautifully crafted aluminum frames are light and durable. Keeping a kid’s bike tough enough to take all the thrills and spills of becoming a better rider, but light enough to keep them motivated is a challenge that our engineering team took VERY seriously. The result: Quality fit and finish of the best Norco bikes in a package optimized for small riders.
RIGID ALUMINUM FORK
Riding rigid builds essential trail skills and saves weight. Suspension definitely has its place in the cycling world, but for many kids, the added complexity and weight of a suspension fork simply isn’t worth it. Each Storm features a light, strong rigid aluminum fork that keeps things tight, and lets the tires absorb vibrations and shock.
EASY GEARING
Quicker starts and easy climbs make every ride enjoyable. So often, kid’s bikes are geared so high that they (or you) end up having to push up hills and getting going from a stop makes learning that much harder. With Storm’s lower gears, balance kicks in sooner, and hills no longer grind your family fun to halt.
EASY STOPS
Putting a stop to sketchy brakes. Every Storm features quality brakes with short reach levers that are easy to pull with kid-sized hands. That way, when they need to stop or slow down, it doesn’t take every once of energy they’ve got.
