Fall in love with skiing all over again with Nordica’s Santa Ana 92. A favorite among skiers who spend most of their time on trails, this all-mountain ski offers tremendous versatility and no shortage of confidence. For an especially smooth and stable ride, the Santa Ana 92 features a fresh construction that pairs both a wood core and an elastomer Pulse core with a sheet of terrain-specific metal.
Combined with a versatile waist width, this construction amplifies control and response. And thanks to its outstanding edge hold, the Santa Ana 92 is at home making powerful and precise turns. Fuel your passion with Nordica’s Santa Ana 92.
TSM Pulse Core
To create a ride that’s as smooth as it is stable, Nordica’s Santa Ana construction pairs our Terrain Specific Metal technology with our Pulse Core. The tailored sheet of metal combined with an elastomer layer and a full wood core allows you to take your skiing anywhere on the mountain maximizing performance and fun along the way.
Unlocked Tail Shape
With the goal of increasing maneuverability, the unlocked tail shape adds more rise to the tail of our all mountain skis. This tail shape allows you to pivot the ski at slower speeds and in tighter terrain without sacrificing the skis top end performance.
Terrain Specific Metal
Terrain Specific Metal tailors the edge to edge width of the titanal layer in each ski within the collection. Every ski maintains the same metal profile but proportionally the width of metal underfoot increases with narrower waist widths. This ensures that narrower, more on trail oriented waist widths, have the stability and edge control you need and wider, softer snow oriented skis, have more playfulness and versatility.
True Tip
By trimming the out the heavy ABS plastic in the tip and extending the lightweight wood core into this area with a taper that further reduces weight, we enhanced the playfulness and maneuverability of the ski without compromising that unmatchable feeling of power and control.
Base Graphic Explained
The running base design has a specific geometric shape to show two features of the ski: A horizontal cut indicates where the rocker starts. The intersection of the diagonal cut with the edge shows the widest point of the sidecut for full engagement of the edge.
