Had some of the prior baby smartwool design and they were great. So, I ordered three packs for my grand babies. What a mistake, I should have read the current reviews. Believe them, these are the worst baby socks I have ever bought. And I am a smartwool lover. They should pull these immediately. They have very little stretch, they are too wide at the ankle and just fall right off. No way to keep them on. If the foot bed was bigger, you could just wait until their ankles got bigger to hold them up, but the foot bed is tiny. They are completely worthless. Smartwool is better than this, pull these and refund everyone that has bought them.

I am very disappointed in the sizing in the fit. I bought a size smaller than her age and they are still too big and every time she kicks her feet they fall off

I purchased my newborn some smartwool socks as these are the only brand my husband and I wear. I was delighted. They stay on my child's foot despite many newborn socks so easily falling off. Imagine my disappointment when we were gifted another set and the ankles are so wide that there is no possible way they would stay on my baby's foot with the slightest of movement. Just fall right off. I'm so bummed about it.

I was so excited to receive these socks as a gift. I love Smartwool and what could be better than these great patterns on adorable baby feet. Unfortunately, these have never fit my infant. The sizing is unrealistic. So short and wide that they didn't even fit when they were newborns. If your child's feet are wider than they are long then these might work for you.

So disappointed in these socks. We have a pair of hand-me-down Smartwool baby socks that have been through multiple kids and they are awesome so we bought this three pack hoping for more of the same great sock. Our baby is 7 months old and very "average" in all sizes. These look like they are meant for newborns. So bummed that the design seems to have changed over the years and not for the better.

The packaging is cute but the plastic ties prevent you from being able to try them on your baby for size. I ordered size 0-6 months and they are much closer to 0 months than 6. When it comes to socks, which need to have a good fit to prevent them falling off, sizes 0-3 months and 3-6 months makes a lot more sense. In addition, while the length of the sock was short, the ankle portion is wide which, again, encourages the socks to fall off. The fabric and colors etc are beautiful- the fit leaves a lot to be desired.

These are way to short and they are small!!! They don't stay on very well either. We all love smart wool product so we were really sad that these are useless. Also, it would be nice to see some baby or toddler outfits here...

Got these as a Christmas gift. They are wider at the ankles then the actual foot size. So if your baby has wider ankles then feet then these might work. If not they will not stay on at all. Smart wool did credit me but would like to save anyone else from the hassle. It's too bad because I love my smart wools.

I had asked for these socks as a baby gift for our second baby. I had previously bought a pair for our oldest child years ago and loved them. They had fit perfect and had a nice length to them so they actually stayed on their feet. So I was so disappointed when we got the current model. Totally useless. They are made for a ball essentially and are so short that they just fall off with barely a wiggle. The previous model only came in a two pack and had more of a padded foot bed and were long and slim which worked so well for our oldest as she had difficulty gaining weight and always had long skinny legs and finding socks was difficult. I thought maybe the new design would be ok for our second kid because she is a chubby little one but she has grown out of the size in length but the socks still remain baggy on her feet and won't stay on. I get that maybe they thought more people would buy them in a pack of three instead of just two for the same price but honestly I would prefer less socks that fit well then three pairs that are totally useless. I would only busy these socks again if they went back to the original design but otherwise I will not be throwing my money away on the next size up as the shape is still the same.
