If you like to ride useful bikes, racks make a lot of sense. Our 24-Pack Rack ups the usable cargo space from our 8-Pack Rack, providing more real estate for more stuff: more beer, more food, more random bits from the hardware store, more whatever. It’s manufactured from Chromoly tubing and uses stainless-steel hardware supplied with our other rack. It offers the same height adjustability too, so you can keep your cargo close to the ground and stable.
It has plenty of braze-ons so you can customize how you secure your cargo…or just light your bike up like the space station. The 24-Pack Rack attaches to most forks that feature mid-blade and crown eyelets*. It gives you a stable, rigid assembly upon which you might place your burden. No one likes a sweaty back and a sore ass, so take your stuff out of that messenger bag and put it on the front of your bike.

I've always wanted this rack, and upon buying it, was told by the LBS that it doesn't fit fat bike forks. I was really disappointed, as I own a Surly ICT. I had to buy a rack from a different company.

Tried to fit to my cross check with Shimano T6000 V-brakes but the upper struts were just in the way, tried multiple positions with no joy. Shame as I've waited since you stopped selling the v1 rack for this updated design.

For a company like Surly it's pretty surprising their new racks will not fit their fat bike forks. Fat bikers wanna carry things too!

Got this rack for my All City Super Pro commuter so I could run a porteur bag and ditch the backpack. It's been great so far. Installation was pretty straightforward, and it's super secure.

I've had the 24 pack rack on my BC for the past 9 months and the two or three times, i've taken it off, I always miss it. What can you really say, a flat platform with plenty of barnacles. Zip tie a wald basket to it and it carries groceries. Use a junk strap to strap your work bag during your commute, add a porteur bag for maximum practicality. Not to mention the durability. I took a crash going downhill at 20+ miles per hour. The rack held up just fine. No bends or anything, the only evidence was a small part of powdercoat that came off. If you're thinking about it, get it. You will no regret your decision. Tl;dr: I never had a problem with it being loose. I got the recall hardware but was never really worried about it to begin with.

I bought this for my ECR and it has proven time and time again to be as versatile as the bike. I feed the homeless on my bike here in Memphis and this rack with a coke crate strapped to it, allows me to haul all of the goods I need to feed my brothers and sisters on the streets. There are so many ways to attach gear to this rack. I even hauled two shepherds hooks on it from our local festival.

Perfect addition to my Pugsley for added utility around town and beyond. I use this way more than I thought I would. Add a bag or zip tie a basket for corralling your stuff, or just strap it on. I suspect the true weight capacity far exceeds what you would carry in bulk. What's impressed me also, is the effect--or rather lack of effect--on handling. It's noticeable with a load on, but not nearly as much as I've experienced with other racks. Small quibble...the upper struts required some material to be removed in order to fit to the crown bosses on my Pugs (holes didn't line up with the bosses). Nothing a few minutes of Dremel work didn't handle, though.
