A more uniform all-around structure that will help maintain your shoe’s shape over time, while preventing toe poke-through.
The next generation Wool Runner 2 boasts a completely re-engineered design for a roomier fit and a sleeker aesthetic. We refined the entire shoe last (which is the heart of the shoemaking process) with anatomical shaping in the heel, plus a roomier toe-box for improved comfort and fit.
The Wool Runner 2 is offered in half sizes and fits true to size for most customers. If you have wide feet or prefer a roomier fit to accommodate toe splay, we suggest going up a half size. For extra wide feet, go up a whole size.

Really glad I finally purchased a pair - they are extremely comfortable. In the couple weeks that I've been wearing them to work, they seem well put together and will hopefully last a while. Living in the northeast, I think they are a perfect spring/fall shoe. They will probably be a touch too warm for me during the summer months, but are definitely still breathable. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was that the packaging arrived in rough shape - the flaps on one side that keep the shoebox closed and one of the sides were almost completely ripped off. Luckily the shoes were undamaged. Pretty sure they shipped via FedEx and I think that is more on them than Allbirds, but hopefully Allbirds can come up with some improvements for more secure packaging while still balancing the sustainability aspect of things.TL/DR: Great, comfortable shoes; shipping leaves a little to be desired.

Tongue is so thin it wants to curl under itself so need to flatten it out with finger when you put them on. Also means you can really feel the laces so can't tie them tightly. Also too snug in footbed even though I ordered 1/2 size larger as suggested on website

Definitely my favorite all birds show ever. Comfortable, able to handle daily walks to light exercise, and everything in between. I ended up going a half size bigger than the 12 I usually went with v1, and I'm happy I did. Get it if you want your new favorite shoe.

I had an impromptu international trip that came up, and I had to get shoes that would be comfortable and functional. I already own a few pair of allbirds, but needed black ones to be more universal. So I ordered these, and they arrived a couple of days before my trip. With most of my shoes I wear them with arch supports, but with some of the allbirds that I own, I've had no need for them. This was the case for these new ones. So on my trip I wore these new shoes, and I had no issues as far as breaking them in. Did a lot of walking, and they were very comfortable. Not sure how they do it, but so far allbirds have been absolutely amazing.
