When is additional width needed?
Visible stretching or bulging on the outsides of forefoot materials is a good indicator that additional width may be needed. These sizes are available in many of our Running and Training shoes. In some cases, men can wear women’s styles to achieve a narrow fit and women can wear men’s to get a wide. If this is needed, please use the references above to determine comparable size lengths. Please note that the differences of width between narrow, standard, wide, and extra wide are usually only a couple millimeters and are proportional to the size of the shoe. Most additional width will be found in the forefoot.

I have purchased DynaBlast 3 after I wore DynaBlast 2. I do not see any big difference between two models in Cushing, but I feel better fit and stability in 3 than in 2 when I take a walk. Both are good shoes for daily use or walking .

I had bought my first pair of ASICS shoes, Gel-Pulse 13, at the end of 2023. I liked them and in early 2024 I bought a second pair of ASICS to replace an uncomfortable pair of 10-year-old Nike Air that was wearable but had no cushioning left. I got Dynablast 3 to try a different variety of ASICS running shoes. The main differences between the two was the tread pattern and the Dynablast 3 has a shamrock-shaped tongue while the Gel-Pulse 13 has a conventional tongue. I find both pairs to be good and to feel good. However, if I were to run through grass and forest, I suspect the Dynablast 3 tongue would suck in more leaves than the Gel-Pulse 13 tongue.

I had been running with the Dynablast 1 for about two years and found them to be bouncy and responsive. I am disappointed in the Dynablast 3. They are dead. I am losing at least 15 seconds per mile on my hard runs, and they seem to bottom out more than the Dynablast 1s. I feel every bit of the road with these, and my feet feel trashed after a run.

I have worn and been happy with Aasics for years but not so much this model. The tongue and shoe is not as comfortable — disappointing!

I am used to the dyna blast 2 which I loved, figured the 3 would have upgrades not downgrades for no apparent reason. The tongue is paper thin made from a tough material and you can feel the knot digging into your skin. The shoe isn't even the same shape at the dynablast 2. Finally I ordered the forest green dried leaf color and the color on the ASICS logo isn't even the same as depicted above.
