Atlas Men's Helium BC Snowshoes

Ultra-light backcountry performance. That’s what you demand, and that’s what the Atlas Helium-BC delivers. With the 23” model coming in under 3lbs per pair the Helium-BC is almost as light as the name implies.

The composite Helium deck provides the feather-light foundation and features a unique louver design to shed snow more efficiently. The low-profile, tempered steel BC crampon sits lower in the frame to compliment the PackFlat™ binding and allow for a more natural rotation feel with every step.

A backcountry necessity, this binding features urethane Z-straps that hold the foot securely and are field-serviceable with the included BC utility strap. As the name implies, it’s designed to pack down flat when not in use for easy and efficient packing or lashing.

Adding to the grip of the BC crampon, anodized aluminum traction rails provide a secure grip when ascending, descending and traversing. When weight and space are limited, but reliability and performance can’t be, you need the Helium-BC.

PackFlat™ Binding
The PackFlat™ binding accommodates larger mountaineering & snowboard boots, featuring a single urethane z-strap that holds the foot securely and is fully field-replaceable with the included BC Utility Strap. Designed to pack flat when not in use.

Helium Deck
The deck of the all-new Helium series provides the foundation to make these the lightest composite snowshoes available. The unique louver design sheds snow to keep them lightweight, while also creating traction.

Pivot Limiter
Pivot Limiter allows a more comfortable steadily stride.

BC Crampon
Designed and tested to meet the standards of alpine adventurers, the BC is the lightest crampon in the Helium series. Crafted from tempered steel, this crampon’s tangs provide the bite needed in variable snow conditions. The BC crampon also maintains a low profile to complement the pack-flat binding.

Aluminum Traction Rails
Lightweight 6061 Al Traction Rails run 2/3 length of snowshoe providing stability and control in all conditions, while still allowing tail to flex for natural gate.

Rockered Footbed

19° Heel Lift
Provides relief when climbing those long steep hills, and easily stores for flats and descents.
