I needed replacement baskets for my Black Diamond ski poles. I do a good amount of back country touring off trail. The larger basket works very well and the cut out section reduces the drag when pulling the pole back for another push. They were a snap to install, just pull down and unscrew the old baskets and push up and screw on the new ones.
