Blundstone certified vegan boot 2116
Certified vegan model 2116 is close family to Blundstone model 510. However, model 2116 has the vegan certification. Together with model 2115, the certified vegan black, model 2116 is the first certified vegan boot in the Blundstone collection worldwide. We are very proud of that. Like all other Blundstone models, every Blundstone detail has been added to this beautiful pair. The boots feel just as soft and flexible as the other models. Definitely a must-have to complete your wardrobe.
Fit
The Original model fits true to size. The Originals are narrower than the other models, such as the Classics and Dress boot models. Blundstone has been around for over 150 years and we find it important to develop and communicate with our customers. A safe production has always been our number one priority. All the materials are carefully selected all the time.
Microfiber
Model 2116 is produced out of microfiber. The shoe consists of 100% microfiber. The company Eurofins Scientific is the market leader in the world of testing vegan products. The have worked closely with Blundstone and conducted multiple tests. These tests show that model 2116 is a 100% vegan certified boot. All components have passed the ‘vegan’ tests. Microfiber is made in such a way that the shoe can still breathe very well, the same as the other Blundstone models. Microfiber is perfect against any damage. A shoe has to endure quite a bit, but this is not easily visible. Model 2116 has an eco-friendly insole, these sole combines perfectly with the TPU outsole. And together they provide the optimal comfort Blundstone is known for.
Shock Protection System
Last but not least, the special SPS, shock protection system has also been added to the certified vegan boots. SPS ensures that you can easily go out for a long walk through the city or nature. SPS helps you to reduce pain in your knees, back and feet. The shoe is water resistant, so no more wet feet during a rainy day.
Vegan
Microfiber is 100% vegan certified and natural, it contains no animal substances and materials. The footbed is antibacterial and the absorption material guarantees dry feet and optimal comfort. In addition, the footbed has been developed in a way that it retains its shape for a long time, even after long and intensive use.

Model 2116 has the exact same look as the other Blundstone models. Model 2116 can be perfectly combined with all of your outfits. Length is primary consideration when fitting Blundstone boots. Walk around in the boots and get a sense of whether your front most toe is touching the front of the boots. If they are consistently touching the front of the boots, then the boots are too small. A thumb width (or minimum of ½ an inch) of space between the end of the customer's foot and the end of the boot is recommended for a good fit.
Width can be focused on now that you have determined the length of the boot. Blundstone boots are commonly referred to as ‘outdoor slippers’, referring to the ease of putting on and taking off these boots. Blundstone boots typically have a loose fit and a centimetre or two of heel lift is very common with Blundstone boots. If you still find that they fit too generously, the insoles provided in the box are helpful for snugging up the fit. It may also be common for you to feel pressure across the instep of the boot where the ‘v-stitching’ comes across the instep. This pressure will often dissipate with regular wear after a two to three week period, once the leather begins to stretch.
It is not abnormal for there to be some initial movement in the boot, particularly in the heel area. Length is the most important element when trying them on. All Blundstone boots have reinforced toes which help keep the shape of the boot intact. The boots will never stretch in length. However, they will stretch and mold to the top of the feet, and will easily stretch in width if required. If the fit is initially tight on the top of your feet—be patient, it will stretch, or can be easily stretched by a cobbler.
