The brand-new Studio Grom FS brings the creative spirit of the Studio Series to younger freeskiers. Built with the same process as our adult skis, this premium twin tip is designed for young freestyle skiers ready to progress. The Poplar provides lively energy and smooth stability to progress on their first park features, and Elliptic Sidecut and balanced Rocker deliver catch-free turns and effortless control on the trails. Reinforced sidewalls, tip and tail caps, and 2.2 mm edges boost durability for season after season of progression.
LIGHTWEIGHT POPLAR & FIBERGLASS CORE
Poplar is a light-colored, medium-weight, durable softwood that flexes and pops nicely as well as having a whole load of vibration absorption capabilities. It allows the ski to pop, butter and stomp like an all-mountain freestyle ski and also have enough torsional stability to grip impressively on the downhill. Ultra-light paulownia wood is also integrated into this ski to save weight. They're set between two layers of fiberglass for strength, rigidity and durability.
ELLIPTICAL SIDECUT
Elliptical Sidecut is made up of a longer radius underfoot and shorter radius in the tip and tail of the ski. The long radius underfoot means you can pivot faster and easier, while a shorter radius in the tip and tail result in easier turn initiation. This sidecut allows for a wide variety of turn lengths, angles and mounting positions
BOAT FLEX
Freestyle rocker is best complemented by solid, stiffer tips and tails, to help settle the skis and power through variable snow. Additionally, the stiff tips absorb more vibration when skiers touch down after going airborne. Just add a touch more flex underfoot and it allows the skis to load up and pop on request.
PREMIUM ALL-MOUNTAIN TWIN TIP
The slightly skinnier tail and wider tip lead to superior downhill performance vs a symmetrical twin. Tip & tail height are identical, however, for optimal switch skiing. The generous rocker and modest camber lead to a wonderfully playful character, while the moderate taper and Elliptical Sidecut provide precise handling and carving.

We work closely with production partners to eliminate material waste. We mix base and sidewall material scraps back into the raw material used for production, reducing carbon emissions and maintaining the same level of quality & durability.
