Little rippers are totally spoiled with the new Micron Youth binding, which crams a ton of high end features and grown-up performance into a smaller size. The baseplate and hiback feature the same glass-filled nylon construction as most of the bindings in our adult line, guaranteeing a lightweight blend of strength and response.
The overall flex is tuned to suit little shredders who want to tear up everything in sight – groomers, park laps, detours through the sidecountry… if it’s got snow on it, or you can jib it, the Micron Youth is up to the task.
With the ExoFrame Fusion strap, kids can enjoy awesome control without having to crank the ratchets as tight as regular two-strap bindings. That means comfier, warmer feet. Together with the reclining Asym hiback, they can also get ready to drop in faster than ever. It’s a winning recipe for more laps, more fun, and more progression.
Baseplate: AXIS-Series
The AXIS-Series is a Glass-filled Nylon rockered baseplate with an asymmetrical design for optimal energy transfer. Wider than the NX2 and Fuse for stability and easy access, but with off-axis PowerBeams, asymmertical rockercorners and offset cable-attachments for a direct and balanced transfer of power to your board.
Hibacks: Asym UniBack Axis
The 1-piece Asymmetrical Axis UniBack is a medium-stiff Glassfilled Nylon hiback shaped for a perfect fit with the boot contour and canted riding angles, and has a supportive spine with a more forgiving lateral flex for a great mix of all-mountain and freestyle riding.
Powerstrap: Fusion
Fusion one-piece PowerStraps are 3D-shaped for a great fit, and cover a larger area of your foot for more comfort and control. Best Easy-Entry and Set-It and Forget-It performance.
Exo-Powerstraps: Fusion Exo-Frame
The upper layer of two ExoSpines over the ankle and toe zones with the lightweight, injected Fusion strap frame suspended underneath work together to distribute pressure evenly and focus energy into the baseplate.
Buckles: LSR
Locking Slap Ratchet (LSR) buckles give you the option to easily get in and out of your bindings any way you choose. Whether Set-it and Forget-it SpeedEntry, or side-entry like a 2-strap, they lock down to secure your preferred footstrap tightness.
