The Tecton is perfect for free skiers seeking active, dynamic skiing adventures in challenging terrain. Regardless of whether you get to the top under your own steam or you take a ski lift. The downhill-oriented, reinforced hybrid binding with a high DIN adjustment range offers maximum power transmission for precise and dynamic control of the skis.
The Tecton will not only impress powder fans due to its downhill performance excellence. It holds securely on the very steepest slopes and only releases if it really has to. And it is just as good for climbing. Its low weight and ease of use make powder slopes effortlessly accessible.
360° Technology
Fritschi touring bindings distinguish themselves through new technological solutions. In a nutshell: strong on the descent and uncompromising in the defined release for injury prevention.
Lateral release at the toe
DIN value setting and sideways release at the toe, where the lateral forces act in the event of a fall. The high elasticity of 13 mm on each side prevents prerelease.
Rails
The alpine heel ensures constant direct traction. To prevent lateral loss of power, two additional rails engage in the back of the boot and fix it firmly in the middle.
Comfort handling
Switching from downhill to uphill mode and vice versa is very simple. The three ergonomically walk mode levels can be changed in no time with a pole.
Elasticity
Similar to an alpine binding, the Tecton has a long dynamic travel of 13 mm on each side to prevent prereleases. Impacts are absorbed by the system and do not lead to unintentional release.
High-tech materials
Climbing up to the peak with ease and getting downhill safely. Our claim is to achieve this at top performance and with the lowest possible weight. The optimal mix of materials makes the difference. Whether light glass fiber or carbon fiber reinforced high tech plastics are used, as in the automotive and aviation industries, or high-quality metal alloys is ultimately determined by the technical requirements for optimal product safety and durability and a powerful performance without compromise.
