Barefoot is best, so be sure to take this into consideration when sizing your Glerups. The fit should be firm, without the toes pressing too much against the end of the Glerups. The inner sole will compress slightly and the upper will give with wear, so a snug fit is recommended. The lack of arch support is a unique and intended design element, ensuring the wearer doesn't feel like they have anything on their feet but pure natural comfort.

These are to replace the boiled wool slippers a German friend usually makes me. I like the soles which have a pretty good grip. These are much better than the slick soles on the "inside" slippers. They do stretch with socks, the thicker, the more stretch.

These are amazing.Love the cushiness but BEST thing is the sole!!!! I don't slip in these coming down the wood stairs in the dark! You can wear them outside to run to mailbox or composter, but I'm keeping mine as "indoor" shoes😊

i am such a bone head .. sent this slipper back because it didn't look like forest green ... contacted LLBean and they were happy to help .. only to find out yes they were forest green .. the color is a little deeper than what's on screen but in person the color is just a little bit darker .. i just love them easy to wear and comfortable .. the sole is rubber which adds a plus as you can wear them out in the streets .. great purchase

These shoe-like slippers are quite good. I especially like the rubber soles, which grip smooth surfaces, such as wooden floors, so much better than leather ones do after awhile. Note that, although my shoe size is consistently 11 to 11.5, my feet only fit snugly within the Glerup 11s if I have socks on, which sometimes results in my feet getting too warm. But they are definitely well-made.
