Engineered for life on the edge, the Freecarver 9000s features a super-long effective edge and our most powerful camber profile, blending elements from race, boardercross and freeride boards.
Carving directional
A purpose-built directional shape engineered for turns on piste and precision on edge. A narrower waist, pronounced sidecut and long effective edge work together for riders who carve hard and want their board to respond in kind.
True High Camber
True camber profile that reaches its apex in the board's center and spring-loads it with energy and generates loads of grip and pop. The go-to profile for many advanced-to-expert-level riders who demand precision and performance on edge.
High Traction Tech
High Traction Tech features three bumps per edge (front binding, board center, back binding). The middle bump is bigger than the outside bumps for better grip and control.
Low Tapered
A subtle taper that aids directional performance but keeps the ride feeling balanced and dynamic on piste and resort terrain. Popular with riders who like to carve the resort or push freestyle in the backcountry, without giving up versatility on the powder days. Inspired by the rounded bottom contours of surfboards, 3D Contour Bases are designed to make every run smoother and every turn more effortless by reducing the drag of the board tips. 3D Contour Bases enhance glide and improve float, helping you ride faster and with better flow.
Medium 3D Contour Base
3D Contour Base tuned for all-terrain featuring 4mm of spoon bevel in the nose and 0-4mm of spoon bevel in the tail. Spoon bevel starts just before the contact points.
Factory Tuned
All Jones snowboards come factory de-tuned at the tip and tail so they’re ready to shred straight out of the shop.
Forever Flex
Forever Flex stabilizes a snowboard’s flex and rocker profile for its lifetime. Boards are overbuilt, then ‘broken in’ using a process that mimics 20 days of riding and makes the flex more consistent from day one.
Power Core
Advanced triple-density full wood core made from responsibly harvested Bamboo, Paulownia and Poplar. Centered Bamboo stringers enhance durability, pop and torsional stiffness, while the Paulownia keeps the core light and damp.
Triax Fiberglass
Triaxial fiberglass laminate made with a triple-layer, multi-axis construction that delivers a precise and powerful board feel with a mid-stiff torsional flex for supreme response in variable snow conditions.
Bcomp Carbon Flax Stringer
Bcomp Carbon / Flax stringers offer the perfect performance balance as the carbon provides crazy pop and the flax sucks up chatter and reduces CO₂ emissions compared to a full carbon stringer. Developed in collaboration with the Swiss engineering firm Bcomp.

Sintered 8000 Base

Bio Resin
A bio-based epoxy made with 27% plant-based carbon that reduces CO₂ emissions by 33% compared to conventional petroleum-based epoxy. Sourced from plant-based industrial by-products, its unmatched bonding properties deliver industry leading durability and performance.
Recycled ABS
Recycled ABS sidewalls with a rounded finish that are engineered to enhance durability by reducing topsheet chipping and impact damage.
