The Storm Wolf is a high-powered swallowtail designed by surf shaper Chris Christenson that blends the all-mountain versatility of a directional freeride board with signature turn performance. The unique profile blends rocker for epic float and camber for control and grip, while its tapered shape and 3D Contour Base deliver the surf-inspired glide that rails bottom turns, hacks wind lips and keeps you pitted when the taps turn on.
Directional
Purpose-built to perform in one direction with a longer nose, shorter tail and setback stance that optimize float, maneuverability and edge power. Designed for riders who prioritize performance on groomers, variable terrain and in the backcountry over switch or freestyle riding.
Float CamRock
Hybrid freeride profile for a great balance of powder and piste performance, featuring a long nose rocker and fully extended tail camber. This combination delivers incredible float in deep snow, while generating drive and grip in the tail to rail carves on piste.
Low Traction Tech
Subtle yet effective Low Traction Tech featuring three equal bumps (front binding, board center, back binding) for added edge grip and control.
High Tapered
Our most accentuated taper, reserved for powder-focused shapes where float and maneuverability in deep snow are the priority. The wider nose plows through soft snow while the narrower tail sinks naturally. Any shape with more than 15mm of taper between the nose and tail.
Surf-inspired shaping for next-level performance
Inspired by the rounded bottom contours of surfboards, 3D Contour Bases are designed to make every run smoother and every turn more effortless by reducing the drag of the board tips. 3D Contour Bases enhance glide and improve float, helping you ride faster and with better flow.
High 3D Contour Base
Freeride-focused 3D Contour Base featuring 4-8mm of spoon bevel in the nose and 0-7mm of spoon bevel in the tail. Spoon bevel starts just before the contact points.
Factory Tuned
All Jones snowboards come factory de-tuned at the tip and tail so they’re ready to shred straight out of the shop.
Forever Flex
Forever Flex stabilizes a snowboard’s flex and rocker profile for its lifetime. Boards are overbuilt, then ‘broken in’ using a process that mimics 20 days of riding and makes the flex more consistent from day one.
Master Core
Dual density wood core made out of responsibly harvested Paulownia and Poplar. 1:1 Paulownia to Poplar stringer ratio creates a lightweight core that’s poppy and durable.
Biax Fiberglass
Biaxial fiberglass laminate made with a dual-layer, dual-directional construction that delivers a forgiving yet snappy board feel with a mid-soft torsional flex and quick energy transfer.
Bcomp Carbon Flax Stringer
Bcomp Carbon / Flax stringers offer the perfect performance balance as the carbon provides crazy pop and the flax sucks up chatter and reduces CO₂ emissions compared to a full carbon stringer. Developed in collaboration with the Swiss engineering firm Bcomp.

Sintered 8000 Base

Bio Resin
A bio-based epoxy made with 27% plant-based carbon that reduces CO₂ emissions by 33% compared to conventional petroleum-based epoxy. Sourced from plant-based industrial by-products, its unmatched bonding properties deliver industry leading durability and performance.
Recycled ABS
Recycled ABS sidewalls with a rounded finish that are engineered to enhance durability by reducing topsheet chipping and impact damage.
Recycled edges
Bombproof steel edges made from recycled German steel, engineered for maximum strength and long-lasting durability.
