Nordica’s Santa Ana 102 keeps you smiling from first chair to last. As the widest ski in the Santa Ana collection, it inspires confidence with a ride that’s as playful as it is versatile. And while it’s at home in any terrain and all conditions, it loves making turns in softer snow, seeking out powder in the trees, and lapping spring slush.
Thanks to a fresh construction that pairs both a wood core and an elastomer Pulse core with a sheet of terrain-specific metal, this all-mountain ski is incredibly smooth and powerful yet also forgiving. Amazing days await you–embrace them with Nordica’s Santa Ana 102.
TSM Pulse Core
To create a ride that’s as smooth as it is stable, Nordica’s Santa Ana construction pairs our Terrain Specific Metal technology with our Pulse Core. The tailored sheet of metal combined with an elastomer layer and a full wood core allows you to take your skiing anywhere on the mountain maximizing performance and fun along the way.
Unlocked Tail Shape
With the goal of increasing maneuverability, the unlocked tail shape adds more rise to the tail of our all mountain skis. This tail shape allows you to pivot the ski at slower speeds and in tighter terrain without sacrificing the skis top end performance.
Terrain Specific Metal
Terrain Specific Metal tailors the edge to edge width of the titanal layer in each ski within the collection. Every ski maintains the same metal profile but proportionally the width of metal underfoot increases with narrower waist widths. This ensures that narrower, more on trail oriented waist widths, have the stability and edge control you need and wider, softer snow oriented skis, have more playfulness and versatility.
True Tip
By trimming the out the heavy ABS plastic in the tip and extending the lightweight wood core into this area with a taper that further reduces weight, we enhanced the playfulness and maneuverability of the ski without compromising that unmatchable feeling of power and control.
Base Graphic Explained
The running base design has a specific geometric shape to show two features of the ski: A horizontal cut indicates where the rocker starts. The intersection of the diagonal cut with the edge shows the widest point of the sidecut for full engagement of the edge.
