Located at the front of the helmet, the integrated Prizm lens uses a unique magnetic system to stay firmly in place. The system is designed to ensure the lens is correctly positioned for minimal drag, and to allow quick attaching, removal and stowage. Just like you would a traditional pair of glasses, the integrated lens can be stowed on top of the helmet using the same hidden magnetic system.
The no-tail shell shape encourages varying body positions, making it an overall better fit for multiple use cases. Whether it’s a big race, training, or simply a day ride, ARO7 is as dynamic as your schedule.
FIT
A BOA 360° fit system includes an adjustable dial that delivers a more secure fit and maximizes safety. Overall improvements to the shell shape ensure ARO5 Race sits lower on the head for better balance, while fitting more naturally to the contours of your head.
PROTECTION
The Mips® safety system is designed for added safety against a variety of accidents, helping to reduce the harmful forces that might otherwise impact the wearer’s head.
VENTILATION
Internal vent channels in the EPS foam connect the front vents to the rear exhaust ports, increasing overall airflow. The placement of each vent helps regulate body temperature by forcing air over the top of your head, allowing you to stay cool even if your ride heats up.
LINING
The lining covers important touch points on the head and is made with Ionic+ material for comfort. The primary benefit behind Ionic+ is the release of positively charged silver ions from the fabric in the presence of moisture. This ionic action helps eliminate buildup of sweat on the surface, extending the life of the product.
EYEWEAR STORAGE
Just like you would a traditional pair of glasses, the integrated lens can be stowed on top of the helmet using the same magnetic system. Best part, the vent design allows ventilation even while the Lens is stowed.
INTEGRATED PRIZM™ LENS
The integrated Prizm Lens cut is inspired by Oakley’s popular Sutro frame and features a disruptive cylindrical lens. With extensive user testing, the team was able to determine the best lens shape, integration function and fit. Because of this, the lens does not crash into the face and allows the rider to comfortably wear prescription underneath. If things heat up on the ride, no need to sweat — the lens uses the same anti-fog coating as our Motocross goggles.
