4WD Base Prep Wax is absolutely amazing at replenishing your base as the wax penetrates deep into the UHMW base material. The soft, smooth, and oily wax will pull out old base materials and contamination easily with a scraper. Use Base Prep Wax to quickly remove old wax, dirt, and oxidation occurring on the base. No surfactants! No fluoro! No polymers!
Hot Waxing Use Only: Base must be clean and dry. Hot wax your base. Allow wax to heavy coat the base, slide extra hot wax off your base onto a scraper.(Don't re-use) Cover completely. Allow to cool. Use a sharp scraper and scrape off wax from the tip to the tail of the board/ski. Repeat if the base needs attention or very dirty. The final step is brushing with a horsehair brush.
