Great vest for taking the essentials out on shorter runs where you don't need a bigger vest. Very airy and lightweight. Doesn't move round at all.

I love this option for hydration on shorter runs (up to 12 miles or so depending on the temp). It's very comfortable and the small soft flasks are great. The design of the front pockets is poor — the elastic is not tight even when the flasks are full, allowing contents to fall out while running. Also, the quality for such an expensive vest just proved to be an issue. After only a few months of use, the black elastic cord on one side of the rear pocket became unattached and the other one is starting to do the same. At this price point, I expected perfection.

Used this vest up to 50k. Supremely comfortable. The 250ml bottles are perfect and don't bounce at all, even with the vest undone. Quiver is a little long for the vest so have switched to a waist band for pole storage

This was going to be my summer hydration vests for long road runs. It is comfortable, lightweight, and feels like a second skin...except for the neck. The vest rides up on the back of the neck and is cut super awkwardly. As the run would go on, longer, the vest would pinch inward on the shoulders hugging high on the entire neck. Compared to the adv. Skin vest, it's hard to believe it is made by the same company. The fit is entirely different. Ended up having to return after a 1 mile test run

I bought this vest for my trail half marathon and I am very happy I did, I owned the adv skin 12 although I love it I was looking for something lighter and the pulsar 3 was the perfect choice. I read reviews about this vest running small and chafing the neck area but I didn't experience none of those two.

Bought this since I needed something even lighter than the Sense Pro 5 and carrying a smaller loads for marathons. However, same stupid design on the back that goes against your neck. It's not wrapped at the top so the stupid breathable mesh just rubs against the back of your neck and chafes the crap out of you. It's been like 3 years since the stupid design and they can't make anything better?

This vest is very light and breathable, and I thought it would be perfect for shorter runs, particularly in the summer. It fit alright when empty, but I was surprised at how narrow it fits in the neck/shoulder area - the shoulder straps and back of the vest are in contact with the base and back of my neck even when the vest is empty. I've had several Salomon vests and have never had this problem with any of them. This wasn't an issue until I filled the flasks and loaded them into the front pockets. Without any weight in the back of the vest, the weight of the full flasks pulls the already tight neck area of the vest forward and down, causing the vest to pull down uncomfortably and even chafe in the neck area. I only lasted 20 minutes into my run before it got too distracting and annoying, and I had to remove one flask and place it in the lower back pocket as a counterweight. This helped a fair bit and I was able to complete my run. I would honestly consider returning it for a different vest, but unfortunately I had to wear it on a run to really notice the fit problems. As a result, I think in the future I will have to just use a 500ml flask and place it in the lower back pocket. This is disappointing - I would prefer to use the vest as it was designed to be used, with the front bottles. For reference, I'm a 5'9"ish woman with a larger ribcage, small chest and slightly larger than average shoulders. I find the women's cut vests fit me awkwardly, but was absolutely not expecting this tight and uncomfortable fit from a unisex product. This is a great vest in theory, if it fits you - try it on carefully before taking it out for a spin.

If you need water for daily runs - this is an ideal option. Unfortunately, the L size turned out to be a little too small.

Minimalist, but that's what it's meant to be. Be careful, 250ml soft bottles are included, not 500ml. Something i overlooked. Built seems as solid as the larger s/lab version. Hope the zips are better though. Including the quiver attachment is very welcome. Also like the plastic cord attachment on the left side
