I am short and love these in petite sizing. To have the knees bend in the right place and the crotch not coming up to my ears as well as not being too long is fabulous. The cut is very flattering too and I have worn them all winter, even below 0C and they seem very windproof. I wear them daily for walking the dog on quite hilly off road tracks and also on proper hikes. This is the second pair I've bought as the first were so good I thought I'd buy another pair in case they stop doing them. It means I never have to wear my other hiking trousers now.

I bought these in a smaller size to a previous pair I have in a different colour, and I'm glad I did. They are so comfortable, and fit perfectly. The big bonus is the elasticated side panels, which obviously expand with you as the day goes on - being a woman in my 40's, I do tend to bloat in the day, so these are lovely to wear all the time. I love the cabernet colour, which is different to my usual taste, but I really like them, and I'm looking forward to testing them out on a hike. 5 stars from me

Probably THE most comfortable and well-fitted walking trousers I have found in a very long time. Mild 'swooshing' sound of the fabric - which is usually annoying - is a small price to pay for how fabulous they feel. Plenty of freedom of movement in all directions. Didn't come up quite as long as I was anticipating from the size guide, so went for my usual 'regular' length. Lightweight, cool, and splash resistant - so good for summer wear or winter layering. Wash well and dry quickly. Will definitely want to buy again!

Just got a pair of these and I love them. The fit is really nice– form fitting with some stretch and the fabric is really light so they aren't as stiff and bulky as other hiking pants. Will be great for summer hiking on hot days. I generally don't like high waisted pants but the waist on these pants is extremely comfortable. I've worn them a couple times and love them so far. I generally wear a medium in Salomon pants/shorts/tights but these ones come in numbered sizes so I got an 8 and they fit great.

I bought a pair thinking it was the same style as the Wayfarer from 2021 with some minor differences like the strap on the waist and its water repellent feature but, as I opened the bag, I noticed these are much bigger, much wider fit and with a high waist. Size 6 feels like a size 8 or even 10. I'm returning them and hoping that Salomon brings back the older Wayfarer which are truly amazing.
