I use the shoes for trail walking as I am in my early 70's. I find the Peregrine 13's a bit wider than my 12's. I have a narrow foot and have had to put cork fillers in the toes even though I got medium width. Otherwise they are great. I think the laces tend to stretch a bit as the shoe loosens as I walk. I do about 50 km a week.

i purchased these for a 28-mile hike (one day event) and thought they would be the perfect shoes to change into at the half-way mark. Was I right! they cushioned and protected my feet in all the right places! i will use them for my trail walking this summer.

Had these shoes on for 30 minutes and had blisters on my heel. Had to take the shoes off and walk barefoot for a half a mile to my car. I would not advise to purchase these. I have had plenty running shoes from this brand, however this model is not worth the risk.

I've been wearing Peregrines for my last 3 pairs of trail shoes, so when I needed new shoes I figured I'd be pretty safe ordering the next model and same size online without trying them on. These just have not fit the same. I've been adjusting the laces, but they just don't seem to fit right. My heal slides in the back and my toes get numb. They still have great grip on the muddy PNW trails.

I bought these for the rugged soles and love them. I live in the high desert with caliche roads, rocks and rough terrain. My daily hikes up and down our steep mountain requires stealth to prevent falls from all those small rocks under foot. I wanted a light weight shoe and this fits the bill perfectly. I have heavy duty boots but the Peregrine is light fast and sassy. They are my go to footwear.
