Third time wearing these boots and just went out to the garage. Wondered why my foot Was cold and looked down to see my right boot coming apart at every side. Seriously! Pass on these the quality is absolute junk.

i bought these boots a few years ago having the same problem as the rest of the people the rubber sole cracked these boots were used very little .i bought these boots because of the name on them but not very happy with the quality now

This is my second winter with these boots. The sole on both boots (one worse than the other) have separated around the toe areas on both sides. The glue let go! Seem to be water proof even with large gaps however I will not be wearing them ever again In case the sole comes rite off and leaves me stranded while walking my dogs. I'm very disappointed! I spent good money and now I'm back to a pair of boots that are more then 10yrs old and very cold in comparison. They look cool but that's it! My friend has same boots and his lasted one winter, leather tore away from bottom on one boot.

The leather upper detached from the rubber surrounding the right boot, and the rubber on both boots are cracking. They are very warm and comfortable— so warm that I'd only wear them when it's below -10. I've worn them a total of under 20 times, and I don't know if I received a defective pair, or if the quality is just subpar across the Conquest line. They are not the most attractive Sorel boots, but where they were lacking in aesthetic, I hoped they'd make up for in durability. Clearly, I was mistaken.

Boot looked good and fit great and was warm and dry...right up until the entire rubber section separated from the rest of the boot. I have never seen a boot fail like this and certainly not one over 200 dollars. Nice call on the short warranty. Based on what I'm reading you would have had to replace quite a few pairs of these for the same issue.

When I got them I loved these boots; functional and stylish. But three years in, with only periodic use, I experienced the same problem that so many others here have reported, namely separation between the toe rubber and the boot body. For a boot of this name and price, that is both surprising and very disappointing.

I have had the same problem as some of the other reviewers, namely, the rubber sole suddenly separating from the leather upper. I don't consider myself an aggressive user of the boots (walking the dogs or shovelling the driveway) and was quite surprised to see the boot break down in this manner. You will be better served to spend this amount of money elsewhere.

I was thrilled when I bought these boots. They looked and seemed great. But, they are not. They are not rugged at all and don't last. Mine broke, ya broke or tore where they bend where the sole meets the leather upper. So if walking in them causes this, THEN WHAT ARE BOOTS for? Second pair of Sorels that failed us (My wife had a different pair) and I don't see the quality in this producer at all!

I've been wearing these boots since the early 90's. They are the best boots I have ever owned. Keeps my feet hot when I'm walking. But as I see many people have had the same problem as myself with the seam separating where the rubber meets the fabric. All three pairs that I have owned have done this! It's a great boot but with a design flaw that puts stress on the seems when you put the boots on. After time the seem splits. If any one from the company is reading this, the tongue of the boot needs more material so you get your foot in easier. With all that said I love this boot. Unfortunately I am in need of new pair as my are split which I'm still wearing. Yes I would buy them again. I do like what another person mentioned about a steel or composite Toe.
