They felt comfortable at first, but the tops were a little stiff and pinched the top of my foot, so they were returned.

These shoes are lightweight and super responsive. They are great for long trail runs or fast shorter races. I've worn them in down pouring rain with no issues of them getting soggy.

100% technical trail running show and it performs well for this purpose.

These shoes really surprised me. I have not ran in any NF shoes and as a friend recommended them I gave them a try, they are really brilliant. The fit is perfect with a bit wider toebox, which is great for trails, the carbon sole gives them a good snap, the laces are a nice touch and the weight is quite low of trail shoes. I love them and would recommend them to anyone looking for fast trail race day shoes.

I ordered these after the soles on my Vectiv Pros basically went bald in three months (although one of the lightest and most comfortable shoes I've ever worn). Soles seems "harder" on this show in a good way. Fit also seems a touch narrower, too. As far as design—it's off the charts fire. Looking forward to dirtying up!

This shoe was a large change for me with NF trail running shoes. I love the Ultra series. Why? Because I'm running through mud, streams, and snow. These are lighter and have a fast roll to them and it seems NF is catering to ultra-marathon crowd. My feeling is that these shoes won't last long. After I've taken them for a few runs. Plus, they did give me a blister until I broke them in, and the color??? Can't wait to see them after I tromp through a couple of mud stretches, which on the trails I live near can last miles. I think they might be better for cross-country runners

I've been running in several of the Vocative models and these are flat out amazing. If I had to tweak "anything" on these, it would be just a "touch" more cushion. Not so much as the pro (and before anyone recommends I simply buy the pro, the reason I love these shows SO much is that they're the first trail shoe in the past two years from ANY big ultra company that the upper does not slip on my foot bombing the technical AND I don't have to yank the laces or do some crazy custom lacing to get them to stay secure for me.) I don't know what's up with companies like Hoka for instance - I've ran in all their trail shoes since 2011. Speedgoats today are sloppy loose stretchy uppers that I saw multiple people rolling their feet in on rocky terrain at WS100 this year. The Tekton - SAME. Awesome shoe, but you can't keep that upper secure to save your life. A training run in either of those (or race) ends up in a re-tie multiple times over a few hours. They're just not practical. Enter this Summit Series VECTIVE Sky? Holy cow. I love the snoopy lacing - there's NO hot spots on my foot. The upper materials are SECURE & COMFORTABLE, the laces are light and do not loosen and the shoe GRIPS my foot without choking off any part of it. BONUS - I have meatloaf toes... In these? I have room to wiggle fine. They're no issue. This is the fourth version of the Vective's I've tried. The Infinite 4 seemed to be my go to, though the 5 seems "weird". It lost its responsiveness. Just it simply feels slower. I put these Sky's on though...immediately I had a peppy run on tired legs. The carbon doesn't get in the way of "feel" not he trail and there's enough cushion to keep me going all day easy. (I always want a touch more though.)
