Normally you have to make compromises with backpacks: You can either opt for good ventilation or maximum stability. The Wizard 24+4 litre hiking backpack solves this problem with the innovative Aeroflex Control System. The distance between the pack sack and the back can be easily and continuously adjusted during the tour. This keeps the back well ventilated on the ascent, while the load sits close and controlled on the back on the descent or on demanding passages.
This flexibility extends the backpack's range of use from everyday adventures to bike tours and via ferrata tours. The back length can also be individually adjusted to suit your height. The storage space is just as variable.

Recycled PET: High quality polyester made from recycled PET bottles
Collect, clean, granulate and spin into high quality polyester yarn – that’s what’s involved in the recycling of PET bottles. In the manufacturing process, we can reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions by up to 50% while completely eliminating the use of new fossil fuels. This conserves resources and keeps our ecological footprint small.
Eco Finish: Environmentally friendly water and stain resistant finish
This water and stain resistant finish is applied to the outer fabric of your product so that water pearls up and runs right off – without the use of environmentally harmful fluorocarbons (PFCs). This protects you from the rain and keeps the planet clean. Regular reapplication is necessary for permanent waterproofing and stain resistance.
Vegan
VAUDE consistently uses synthetic and/or plant-based materials for our vegan products. However, traces of animal-based components in dyes or adhesives cannot be completely ruled out.

Aeroflex Control: Rear-ventilated and full contact back in one
VAUDE backpacks with Aeroflex Control allow you to fully adjust your pack’s ventilation space. The rear-ventilated back can be converted to a full contact back when needed. It’s up to you – more distance equals optimal ventilation, less distance equals better balance because the center of gravity of your pack is closer to your own center of gravity. With this suspension system, you’ll be perfectly prepared for all kinds of adventures. The full spring wire frame also ensures excellent pack stability.
Ergoshape
These ergonomic shoulder straps ensure optimum freedom of movement and extra comfort for your next mountain, trekking or hiking tour. Ergoshape shoulder straps are designed to be wider where they rest on your shoulders and narrower at the front and under your arms. Ergoshape shoulder straps are specifically adapted to the different needs of women and men.
Shifting Back Length
