I have just purchased the 3p tent in Australia. How do I know if I Have the 2020 version of this tent rather than that older version?

I was nervous about the ultra thin fabrics in a tent recommended as per Nemo's website for mountaineering use. I purchased one from a local dealer anyways, when it arrived I was surprised to find that it only came with 6 stakes, it would require another 4 stakes to set up the provided guy lines. In other words Nemo does not provide enough stakes to set the tent up with the provided guy lines. On top of this, for the price tag I would have expected more guy lines be provided for a tent recommended for mountaineering use. It's also worth mentioning that the guy lines provided to not include tensioners. It feels like Nemo wanted to hit a target weight and because of this they removed equipment from the bag to do so at the expense of true four season versatility. A great way to sell the tent as light is to remove equipment from the bag. Another area of concern is the tension required to connect the tent to the centre of the brow pole, it is tight! I cannot imagine putting the thin plastic clips under that much tension in sub-zero temperatures, while i'm confident that Nemo has engineered it appropriately I am not comfortable trusting it in adverse conditions. I have returned the tent and will be looking elsewhere.

Took this out out in the winter and i slept great. The tent hold heat really well but will also allow you to vent. I am 5'7 and used a cot in the tent. It is a bit smaller than my 3 season tent but was easier to warm up.

I bought this tent for a climb up Mount Shasta but just used it for a spring backpacking trip with my son. I think it's a great tent with minimal compromise for almost all kinds of camping. From mountaineering to backpacking and even overlanding for the minimalist.

First trip with my light, four season tent I had 5cm of wet spring snow on my Kunai with no problems. The four included tie out ropes are too short and do not have a tensioner.

I really like this tent. You can tell that Nemo makes high quality products. I do wish it was just a little longer , but it's fine for what I need. There are lots of hidden features in this tent like the over head head lamp holders and the extra loops.

I've done mountaneering endevours on different tents, double wall, single wall, old ones, heavy ones and finally found in the Kunai the cornerstone of 4 season tents. To start with this is a REAL 4 season tent, because the walls can switch from solid wind resistant fabric to mesh with the pull of a zipper! The ventilation features are super efficient, the pole system intuitive and strong, big door acces and roomy vestibule for your storage/ kitchen under the storm area, all this for a little more than 4 pounds!

I have been really impressed with this tent. I've had it about 6 months now and have taken it on several mountaineering trips and a few short backpacking jaunts as well. On some nights, the temperatures dipped below zero with strong winds. I love that it's orange for easy locating during a whiteout. When properly stakes out, it is extremely quiet when the wind is swirling outside, which helps falling and staying asleep. The first time I used it, there was quite a bit of condensation, but once I opened up all the vents, I didn't have any issues. I would highly recommend this tent to anyone who is looking for a premium backpacking and mountaineering tent.

Bought this tent last fall and only used it at the end of September up in Alaska. It performed well, but the temperatures didn't get below freezing yet, so still waiting for my winter camping. I have a 2 prison version which worked great for me, I'm 5'5", 134 pounds, so I still had some room around me using a wide sleeping pad, but can't pictures myself camping in it with a full sized dude, lol. It would be SUPER tight. The vestibule is pretty small too, so make sure you pack ultra light. There was some condensation inside in the morning, nothing major though, I can't remember whether I opened the vent or not (got pretty wet while hiking and unexpected downpour happened, so I was trying to get the tent as warm as possible). Despite couple of those cons, I still like the tent a lot and can't wait to take it camping up here in snow. Maybe next month, so I'll update my review

Bought this tent for winter/snow and exposed conditions. Just set it up at my house and the elastic material between all the poles is so loose and stretched out already, have to literally thread it in to get poles together, what gives? How do I get replacement pole set, as this won't do.
